make the most of your talent!

Liandon Monteur Liandon is always looking for technical talent. Are you a talented technician? Then sign up for our Technical Trainee Programme and become a multidisciplinary engineer, project leader or consultant within three years.

The programme

In the Technical Trainee Programme, you can make the most of your technical qualities. You’ll have an opportunity to develop into a multidisciplinary engineer, project leader or consultant within three years. You will deepen your specialised knowledge even further, and explore other related areas. You will also develop your personal skills (e.g. communication, presentation and project management) – and immediately receive a permanent contract.

When you start

Practical projects are an important part of the programme. Many of these projects are multidisciplinary and you’ll be given responsibility right away. The practical projects cover areas such as:

  • Electrical engineering: you’ll help to develop the intelligence of the electricity grid, find smart solutions for connecting large installations, devise feed-in methods for decentralised energy and to realise the electrification of the Betuweroute rail line.
  • Construction Engineering, Connections and the Environment: you’re involved in housing people and installations in the broadest sense of the word. You carry out an array of construction engineering tasks, ranging from the schedule of requirements to the implementation of the project.
  • Mechanical Engineering and Process Technology: as a process engineer, you’ll help design coal gasification processes, devise smart methods for residual heat transmission from power stations to residential areas, develop green gas feed-in technologies, and create large solar collector fields.

Professional supervision

We expect you to be self-motivated and show initiative. But you are not on your own. A dedicated mentor will be at your side throughout the Technical Trainee Programme. And a colleague will offer guidance on your specific projects.

Are we looking for you?

You have:

  • a vocational (HBO) or university degree in Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Process Technology, Technical Automation or Mechanical Engineering
  • a maximum of two years’ work experience
  • a social, entrepreneurial and practical attitude
  • extensive analytical skills
  • a good command of the Dutch language
